Good Morning!

Food AND crafting?! Really, is there any other way? I, myself, spent part of my morning crafting while enjoying my coffee and fresh banana bread (made by my mom and dropped off early this morning. Nice, right?)

I'm cramming these to together for a Pre Turkey Day Potluck workshop! Yay! Now I'll get to eat, craft and hang out with friends! Can't we do this every day? Oh ya, work.  Guess I need to keep my job to support my habit. Lol!

I'm sharing a few projects I've planned for this weekends workshop.  I think gift tags are in order and some may be used at tags or ornaments.  Handmade tags and cards are a wonderful way to show those that receive them how special they are to you.  I love handmade gifts of any kind.

First on deck:

I cased this Santa on Pinterest. It's just so cute!!  I added googley eyes, I thought the kids might have fun with that!  My kids loved it! Here's a list of tools for this project.

Bigz L Gift Bow die ( I love this tool!)
1/2in Circle punch
Circle Framelits (for the face and cut in half)
Silver Glimmer paper

I did freehand the hat and trim.  Decide how tall/long you'd like the hat.  I then cut the width I wanted for the hat (approx 2 1/4in, depends on how big the face is, how much you want covered) and lined up the one corner with the midpoint at the other end.  Then cut the other side to match.  Hope this makes sense!

Next up:

Foral Framelits ornament. I cased this for the general idea and then made some changes to make it 3D

Floral Framelits and Big Shot
Silver 1/8in Ribbon
Vellum
Silver Glimmer paper
Whisper White card stock
Frosted Sequins Embellishments
Glue dots
Liquid Multipurpose Glue (as far as glues go, this one is great. I finally tried it out on this project and I love it!)

One more before I wrapped it up:

This little cutie was simple and will be easy to make in multiples!  I first cut the card stock    2 x 3 1/4.  I punch one side of 2in sides with the Scallop punch. Next I used the Trim the Tree paper pack and cut one piece at  1 1/4in x 2 in and Gold Glimmer Paper at 1/4in x 2in. Punch very vanilla card stock with the 1 3/4in x 7/8in oval punch. Then using Chocolate Chip ink pad, stamp you saying smack dab in the middle.

Scallop Tag Punch
Paper Trimmer
Trim the Tree paper pack (these are handy because there's such a variety, their affordable and the size if perfect for these projects.)
Gold Glimmer paper
Oval Punch 1 3/4in x 7/8in
Twine of your choosing
Get Your Santa On Photopolymer Stamp Set

Hope you like and it inspires you to create your own projects! I love to craft and even more so with my kids, husband, friends and family!
